This AlNiCo Magnets is custom made for one of our customers for use on security products.
They can also be applied for magnetic reed switches.
A Reed Switch requires either a permanent magnet or magnetic field in order to activate the switch thus it is called a Magnetic Reed Switch.  Permanent magnets are available in a variety of different sizes, magnetic materials, and shapes such as cylindrical, rectangular, disk or ring form. 
Ideally, the magnet should be mounted in the moving part of the application because the interaction between the Reed Sensor/Switch and Magnet is influenced by the magnet's mounting position, environment and the presence of another magnetic field.
Our AlNiCo magnets and NdFeB magnets are good source to innovative reed sensor or reed switches manufacturers. Those magnets of common shapes can be shipped out after a short lead time period. We welcome every magnet user and hope to establish a long and good relationship.
